1. Information We Collect

We collect:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you register.
• Payment information: the payment method you choose and a screenshot you upload as proof of payment. We do not process card numbers or bank credentials directly — payments are made through JazzCash, Easypaisa, Bank Transfer, or Raast outside the Platform, and we only see the reference/proof you submit.
• Learning activity:which lessons you've watched or completed, quiz attempts and scores, assignment submissions, notes, and certificate records.
• Community content: posts, comments, and profile information you choose to share in Discussion, Groups, or a course community.
• AI usage: your interactions with AI Tutor/AI Tools, so we can enforce daily usage limits and improve the feature.
• Technical & usage data: device/browser information, pages visited, and general usage patterns, collected automatically through analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account, and verify your payment before granting access
• To deliver course content, track your progress, and issue certificates
• To respond to support requests and send account/order-related notifications
• To send optional marketing updates (course announcements, tips) if you subscribe — you can unsubscribe anytime
• To understand how the Platform is used, so we can improve it, using analytics and session-recording tools
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues

3. Analytics & Tracking

We may use tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Platform — including session recordings and heatmaps that show page interactions, not the content you type into password fields or other sensitive inputs. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. We may also add other third-party tracking or advertising scripts (e.g. Meta Pixel) over time; when enabled, they operate under their own respective privacy policies as well as this one.

4. Who We Share Data With

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Platform (for example: hosting and database infrastructure, video and file storage, email delivery, error monitoring, and the analytics tools listed above), each bound to only use it to provide their service to us, and when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion of your account — see Section 7.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted storage for sensitive fields, access controls, and rate limiting — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if that ever changes.

7. Your Rights

You can review and update most of your account information from your Profile and Settings pages at any time. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, contact us at support@aivarsity.pk. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any records we're legally required to keep.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do; continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the update.
